Serve at Life INC This Fall
Life INC is returning to Rimrock Downtown from September 15–November 3, and we have an incredible opportunity to serve our local community together. Every Tuesday evening, people will walk through our doors looking for encouragement, community, practical support, and the hope found in Jesus Christ. Whether they're taking a financial class, finding hope in the midst of grief, or simply looking for a place to belong, you can help make a lasting impact by serving.

We're looking for volunteers to serve as Greeters, Meal Team members, and Children's Ministry volunteers. Whether you welcome guests with a smile, share a meal, or care for children while their parents attend class, your service helps create a place where people feel loved, valued, and cared for. Join us this fall and be part of what God is doing through Life INC at Rimrock Downtown.

FAQ

1. What is Life Inc?
Life INC is a free adult education program designed to help people take meaningful steps toward a better future. Local churches, organizations, and volunteers come together to offer classes focused on areas such as finances, employment, parenting, and faith. But Life INC is about more than just attending a class. Participants are surrounded by a safe and supportive community, with volunteers who are there to encourage, serve, and walk alongside them. Each week, participants can enjoy a meal together, and free Children’s Ministry is provided while adults are in class. At Rimrock, we have the opportunity to be part of that support system by serving meals, caring for children, welcoming participants, providing transportation, and building relationships. It’s a practical way to live out our faith and help people in our community take their next steps.

2. How long do I need to serve or volunteer?
There are several ways to serve with Life INC, and you don’t have to commit to the entire season to make a difference. Some volunteer opportunities are a one-time commitment, while others involve serving on multiple evenings throughout the Life INC season. Whether you can serve once or want to be involved throughout the season, there’s a place for you.

3. What is a Meal Team?
Meal Teams provide dinner for Life INC participants, volunteers, and children each Tuesday evening. Teams typically serve a simple meal for around 60–70 people, such as tacos, soup, pizza, or sloppy joes. Meal Teams can be made up of individuals, families, small groups, or friends who want to serve together. Your team prepares the meal, brings it to Rimrock Downtown, and helps provide a welcoming environment where relationships can grow around the table.

4. Who can volunteer?
Anyone who has a heart to serve and a willingness to invest in others can be part of Life INC. Whether you’re a Rimrock regular, part of a small group, a family, or an individual, there are opportunities to get involved.

5. Do I need to have experience to volunteer?
No! You don’t need special experience or training to serve with Life INC. Many of our volunteer opportunities simply require a willingness to show up, serve, and build relationships with others. Some roles may have additional training or requirements, but we’ll make sure you know what to expect before you serve.

6. What happens when I volunteer?
Each Tuesday evening, volunteers help create a welcoming environment for Life INC participants and their families. Depending on your role, you may help serve a meal, care for children, greet participants, provide transportation, or assist with other needs. Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships, encourage others, and be part of what God is doing in our community.

7. Can I volunteer with my family or small group?
Absolutely! Life INC is a great opportunity to serve together. Families, small groups, and other groups from Rimrock can serve through meal teams or other volunteer opportunities.
Serving together is a practical way to strengthen your relationships with one another while making an impact in the lives of others.
