First Step - This casual, one-time class gives you an opportunity to:
learn more about Rimrock Church, ask questions, get connected,        meet staff, visit with Elders, and meet new friends.

Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner - This great event is back at Rimrock and is open to any adults (and infants if needed) who enjoy good food, fun & connecting with old friends & meeting new ones. 
Sign up and our coordinators will put you in small groups at designated host homes for dinner on the 3rd Saturday of the month. This is not a potluck. The host provides all the fixings. Each participant will have a chance to host at least once during the year, at a time that works best for them. Our first gathering is scheduled for Saturday, September 21 at 6:00 pm. The location will be shared with those who sign up.

Community Membership Class - This two-part series is an invitation to membership at Rimrock Church and gives insight into becoming actively engaged in our Rimrock worship community. 1 Corinthians - Considered by many to be one of Paul's most difficult and broad-ranging letters. Join us for additional background and discussion of the Pastor's sermons as we wade through a wide scope of imminently relevant topics. Starting Sept 8 at 9 am in MC Room 109.  Led by Christian Dietz, Lee Miller, and Boomer Roland.

Book of James - A verse-by-verse study. Starting Sept 8 at 10:30 am in MC Room 202. Led by Mikel Homa.

Kids' Ministry at 9 am & 10:30 am (Infant to 5th Grade) - We are in the middle of a 3-year journey exploring the big story of the Bible, using The Gospel Project. Kids Ministry Rooms. Led by Boomer Roland, Rachel Benham & Leslie Homa.  

Youth Ministry -Middle School (MS) & High School (HS) at 9 am are in the middle of a 3-year journey, exploring the big story of the Bible, using The Gospel Project.  MS is meeting in the Youth Center & Led by Lindsey Hodgson. HS is meeting in the A-Frame & Led by Josh Hodgson.

Back to the Basics - Join us for a discussion on an overview of starting aspects of our faith. Let’s get to know the Bible and journey closer to God together. Meeting Sundays starting Sept 22 at 10:30 am at Rimrock Downtown Upstairs Conference Room. Led by John Anderson.

Church History-First 200 years -  Starting at 6:30 pm in MC Room 202.  Led by Mikel Homa.

Practicing the Way - An introduction to spiritual formation & exploration of the practices seen in Jesus’ life.  Starting at 6:30 pm in the MC room  Led by Seth & Meaghan Lundeen.

Men’s Group-Living the Christian Life in Anticipation of the 2nd Coming of Christ - A study through 1-2 Peter. Starting at 6:30 pm in the MC Office Upstairs.  Led by Daren Beckloff and Tim Shoemaker.

Men’s Group-Encounters with God - A study of personal encounters with God throughout the Bible and what He reveals about His character through those interactions.  Starting at 6:30 pm at MC Room 201.  Led by Josh Nebelsick & Ben Green.

Women’s Study: Women of the Word Foundations - This small group takes us through the foundations of the faith. This two-semester class will explore the importance of biblical theology and solid Bible study practices as we go through two books, You Are A Theologian by Jen Wilkin and JT English, and Women Of The Word by Jen Wilkin. Starting at 6:30 pm in MC Room 110. Led by Katie Nebelsick.

Women’s Study:  Women of the Word Colossians - Have you already completed our small group "Foundations" study? If so, continue on with us into the book of Colossians. We will be using the framework that Jen Wilkin lays out in the book, Women Of The Word, to take a deep dive into scripture. Starting at 6:30 pm in MC Room 109.  Led by Noelle Ligtenberg, Jill Green, and Rachael Cattin.

Shadowlands Grief Recovery Group - This 10-week group provides a faith-based perspective on the journey of loss to a restored sense of peace & joy. In this group, we will walk together as leaders and participants, to grieve, mourn, and lament as well as heal from experiences of loss.  Meeting Wednesdays, Sept 11-Nov 13 at 6:30 pm in the MC Office Conference Rm. Led by Lee & Jane Miller, Doug Karns & Michelle Westvig.

Preschool Kids Ministry - Each Wednesday night, preschoolers will review the story from Sunday with new activities and hands-on stations. Preschool Rooms, Led by Rachel Benham & the Kid’s Ministry Team.

Kids' Ministry (1st to 5th Grade) - Kids will be in disciple groups.  Together with their group leaders they will focus on loving Jesus fully by obeying Jesus fully.  As we consider the life of Jesus & the Spirit’s work in Acts, kids will be encouraged to know & obey God’s Word.  Kids Ministry Room, Led by Boomer Roland & the Kids' Ministry Team.

Youth Ministry (6th-12th Grade) - Join us for a time of worship, teaching & small groups, with fellowship & application of God's Word.

Succeeding in Marriage: The 5 Love Languages and Other Tips for Living for a Lifetime - Join us to learn how to love your spouse better using the 5 love languages and other tips learned over 26 years of marriage. Childcare, books, and snacks are provided.   Meeting Wednesdays for 7 weeks starting Oct 2 at 6:30 pm at Rimrock Downtown.  Led by Jerry & Kari-Ann Casper. Women’s Study: One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp - In this 8-week study, we will delve into what it means to slow down, let go of control and fear, and intentionally embrace a lifestyle of radical gratitude. Meeting starting on Sept 9 on Monday evenings from 6-7:30 pm at Rimrock Downtown. Led by Kristi Button.

Apologetics - Practical conversations based on Greg Koukl's book Tactics and Street Smarts. Meeting from 5:30-6:30 pm at Rimrock Downtown.  Starts September 23. Led by Christian Dietz.

Women’s Study: Exodus - In this 10-session verse-by-verse study of Exodus 1-18, Jen Wilkin shows us that Israel’s story is our story.   Meeting Tuesdays from 9-11 am at the Main Campus Room 109.  Led by Wyonne Kaemingk and Kathy Breedlove.

Successful Parenting: Avoiding Common Mistakes - This is a super practical discussion about how to create an environment in your home for biblical parenting.Uses the book 8 Errors Parents Make and How to Avoid Them by Michael Brock. Know Your Bible, Change Your Life - Intro to and using a simple Bible Study technique to go deeper into God's Word.
