Youth Ministries

Our mission is to teach God's truths and equip young adults for the challenges of living in this world.

the truth of  God's Word to be sufficient for all of life's challenges.

to teach young adults how to apply God's truths to life's situations.

this happens only in a relationship with Jesus Christ and not a religious regiment.

  • We have youth classes on Sunday mornings during the 9am service. Middle School (4:12) meet in the Youth Center and High School (Frontline) meets in the A-Frame.  Over the next three years we’ll be walking though the Bible with the Gospel Project curriculum, and we’re so excited for families to have their kids and teens in the same passages each week. We’ve already heard so great stories about conversations happening on the drive home from church. We hope you can join us!

  • Wednesday Nights are back! There's something for the whole family! Dinner is served at 5:30pm and classes for all ages begin at 6:30pm.  Middle and High School students begin in the Youth Center for a time of worship, teaching, fun, and small group community. Our theme verse this year is Psalm 95:4, God of the Hills & Valleys. Come discover with us the amazing God who is with you and cares for you throughout every part of your life!

  • September 26 - We are preparing and serving dinner and the Cornerstone Rescue Mission from 4-7pm. Students need to be 14 or older (unless accompanied by a parent). Sign up by talking to Pastor Josh.

  • Fall Advance at Camp Judson is happening November 4-6! Make sure to save those dates! Fall Advance is a weekend of teaching, worship, and fun where the 7th-12th grade students from the EFCA churches of the Black Hills come together to advance the gospel in the name of Jesus. Our speaker is a Bible translator who has lived with a nomadic group of shepherds for over a decade, and he has some amazing stories that will really challenge us to go forward with the gospel! Registration info will be coming out soon.

Middle School Ministry
1 Timothy 4:12, “Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.”
The Middle School Ministry's name is “Four Twelve”. This title is all about finding your identity in Christ and branding yourselves with His seal. You are not defined by your years on this earth, but by your status as son or daughter of the Most High King! Youth is a gift from God and we need to treat it as such, giving our energy, attention, and praise to Him, by shining our light in this lost world. The Middle School students will be taught to be examples for those around them, no matter what age.

Sunday Mornings @ 9:00 am
We begin meeting, inside the youth center. We invite our students to join their families at the 10:30 am service, each Sunday, after youth group.
Typically, the Middle School students meet in the Youth Center each Sunday morning for an hour to grow in our relationship with God, and with each other. Each Sunday morning we will discuss ways to draw near to God and find His purpose in our day-to-day lives. We hope you can join us!

Wednesday Nights @ 5:30 pm
We join together for dinner, in the Youth Center.  At 6:30 we have our lesson together, before splitting into smaller groups.

A place for students in grades 9-12.
Our vision for the high school ministry is a simple one: To make teenage disciples as the church of now.  We want to teach young adults to love God passionately, to love others through serving, and to make it a lifestyle. We believe that this is the lifestyle that followers of Jesus are called to live, and we want to help our students understand that they can be a part of that right now! We are excited to help unleash this through the study of God's Word, through undignified worship of our Savior, through intimate and fun fellowship, and through taking the hope of salvation out into the world.
The Name Frontline: Our faith is not something that is distant or disconnected from the rest of the world. It is something that is present, that is relevant, and that is personal.
At Frontline, we will discover what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ right now, and how to take that truth and engage it in our world today. We will learn what it means to love God and to love others, and how to take the hope of Jesus Christ and apply it to our lives today.
John 14:6 states, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Join us as we come together to take that truth to the Frontline of this community and world.

Sundays at 9:00 am:  We meet together in the A-Frame. We encourage our students to attend service at 10:30, following class.
Wednesday Nights @ 5:30 pm:  We eat together in the youth center, begin large group worship and lesson at 6:30, then split into small groups.
Rimrock Youth goes to various conferences and camps during the year! Here is a testimony video of several youth who went to Christ in Youth (CIY) and what they experienced during the trip:
