Life is designed to be lived in community. We all need to connect on a variety of levels; from casual acquaintances to serving together to deep friendships. God designed us to be surrounded with healthy Christ-centered relationships. So our prayer for Rimrock is for everyone to be connected with others. Check out our small group opportunities.

Open Small Groups

These groups are open anytime, check some out until you find a great fit!

  • The Secret of Grace: Stop Following the rules and start living (Steve McVey)God the Father has provided everything we need for a truly meaningful, joy-filled life here on earth…all because of His marvelous grace. Learn how to rest in the grace of God, and let Him live through you. (Westergaard and Cole)
  • Empowering your Abundant Life:

God has empowered, identified & uniquely designed each one of us for His pleasure, the kingdom’s benefit and that we might experience Christ’s abundant life. Join us for a 3 part series to discuss:

Tree of Life (Donovan) - "Two trees grow in a garden. For ages, the Tree of Knowledge has entrenched humanity in patterns of judgement and condemnation. But the Tree of Life beckons the believer to the Spirit's grace and mercy. Join us as God unveils this picture of these contrasting trees and extends His invitation to a Life of Freedom."

Identifying your Spiritual Gift(s) (Mike) - Romans 12 shares how all in Christ are motivated by Spiritual Gifts. It is amazing how knowing them gives freedom, purpose, and joy in life/ministry.

Discovering your Sweet Spot (Lee) - Few sounds match the “ping” of a swing hitting the sweet spot of your golf club or baseball bat , the swish of a basketball, or the wind one your face as you race down on a mountain bike trail. When you – with less effort but more effectiveness – send a ball a mile down the fairway; when you are “in the groove.” Or to quote Eric Liddel (Chariots of Fire), “When I run I feel His pleasure.” God has designed a sweet spot for you; where your impact on the world comes with less effort and more joy & effectiveness. The spot where you sense the Spirit’s leading and folks respond to your ministry.

Experiencing Christ & Life Together!

Throughout the week a variety of Life Groups  meet to discuss the Bible in a safe, relaxed setting; generally close friendships are developed.  Key attributes includes openness, interactive study, a desire for growth, and consistency in a safe setting. Discussion topics are chosen by the group to meet their interests/needs.

These groups are designed to provide a spiritual extended family where we enjoy, encourage, help, and challenge each other while studying God’s Word in a safe and loving environment.  All with the intent of developing significant Christ-like relationships as we experience life together.

To get involved:

  • Join an existing group
  • Start a new group. It can be organized via neighborhoods, gender, or anyone wanting to study God's Word.
